Living Authentically

Want to change your direction in life?

Looking for excitement, meaning, happiness, and sense of purpose?

To make a real difference with your life, you need to live authentically. Here's how ...
You begin by finding out exactly what you want.

What gets you excited about life? What are you passionate about? What do you love to do? What do you truly wish for?

Achieving fulfilment and having a sense of purpose is about living your truth and doing what really matters to you.

Once you know what it is you want, set yourself achievable and manageable goals. When you're on the right path, living your truth, you'll enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

Not making the progress you want? Ask yourself this: what's holding me back?

Most of the time, happiness and success is self-sabotaged by limiting thoughts. If this is the case for you, free yourself. Use positive self-talk or NLP to break a life-time of non-nurturing thoughts and habits.

When you live your truth, you're doing exactly what you're here to do. You'll achieve more. You'll enjoy life. You'll make a difference.

So, are you living authentically? Now is the time to do so!

Wishing you all a happy and meaningful year.

Say Hello To Your Gut Bacteria

Gut Bacteria Implicated In A Host Of Medical Conditions

So silently do these microorganisms work in the intestines, that we normally aren't even aware that there are living creatures living inside our innards. However, new light being thrown on these creatures shows there is a lot to the gut bacteria than we had ever imagined.

The intestinal tubes of the new-born body are bereft of bacteria --- they are not part of the biological heirloom the mother gifts to her child. But no sooner do the first drops of milk feed enter its mouth to travel down the gullet into the stomach, than something triggers the genesis of this wide diversity of microorganisms. As if out of thin air, these creatures come to populate the inner lining of the small-sized tubes that make up the lower end of the alimentary canal. By the time the infant turns one, an entire biome comprising several communities of the bacteria - totaling one hundred trillion, give-or-take a few billion here or there - makes the intestine (the large bowel to a greater extent than the small intestine) its home for a lifetime. That's about one to two kilos of your body weight. You talk of tensions between different races, ethnicities and religious profiles in the human populace; how will you react when told that there are about 1,800 genera and up to 40,000 species of bacteria coexisting peacefully in your very own gut? And yet, the biome, or gut biota, is a very serene universe in itself. Surprisingly, we have not been able to culture more than 60% of these bacteria in laboratory setting; these bacteria either exist in the bowel, or not at all. Given our intellectual prowess, that is saying something!

Up until now, it has been known that gut bacteria play an important role in medical conditions such as inflammatory bowel diseases, and even type 2 diabetes and obesity. Here is the latest insider information that immediately elevates the relative importance of these lowly bacteria even further. This is that the gut bacteria play an important role in mood and psychiatric disorders, too. In fact, study of the linkage between the gut biota, mood conditions and the pathogenesis of various medical conditions has given rise to a whole new discipline called "Microbial Endocrinology".

After birth, when the biota is in the process of being formed, nature endows it with an abundance of bacteria called "Bifidobacteria infantis". It has been discovered that when the gut is colonized by these bacteria within a specific timeframe (the timeframe variation is apparently a riddle wrapped in a mystery), we are somehow protected from depression as adults. Further, bifidobacteria treatment has been found to reduce the concentration of chemicals such as 5-HIAA and DOPAC and the elevation of chemicals such as tryptophan in key areas of the brain. The implication? Gut bacteria, the probiotic ones, especially like this bifidobacteria infantis, help alleviate psychiatric disorders. The conclusion? Gut bacteria are to be treated with respect!

And in what manner do we, unknowingly, treat them otherwise? By allowing ourselves to be stressed by external conditions and circumstances in our lives. Sensitive as they are to the mood of the host (meaning you); when you feel stressed, so do the bacteria, poor things. And when they are stressed, your entire stasis goes haywire. Psychiatric disorders are just another station away; don't worry, you will reach the station in double speed when your engine is fueled by the coal of stress.

In your own interest, therefore, treat your gut biota with respect. When meditating and praying every day, send prayers of love and affection to this tiny little universe residing within that functions very hard to make your life easy for you. And, don't take on too much stress!

[Talking of stress, has it occurred to you that it was not stress that you had come to planet Earth for? You had come to this earth as a tourist. And like a tourist who knows that they have to go back home one day, so therefore they do not take to heart any experience they encounter at their place of enjoyment... you too need to shrug off and not take to heart any experience that you get to encounter in your life. Here is one article that promises to put you in the right mood for the rest of your stay here on earth: "Relax, Let Go And Enjoy Your Stay".]

7 Ways to Beat Life's Challenges

When life feels frantic and you're struggling to keep up, the best thing you can do is step off the treadmill for a while. Here are seven effective ways to overcome life's challenges...

#1 Breathe! Yes, you're doing that right now, but how often do you focus on the quality of your in and out breath? When stressed, we tend to breathe quick and shallow and don't inhale enough revitalizing oxygen. Take time out of your day to breathe properly. Not only will it enhance your health and sense of well-being, you'll also feel calm and ready to face your day.

#2 Take a walk. Exercise is a good way of switching off and letting go of the day's tensions. You don't need a formal gym program. Just make time for a daily quick-paced walk. It's a great way to unwind - especially if you're walking in nature - and it will help clear your mind.

#3 Make sure you're having enough quality sleep. Adequate sleep is restorative and important for maintaining peace of mind. Get into a good sleep routine so that you wake up each day feeling full of vitality.

#4 Let go of your worries. At day's end, leave all your troubled thoughts at your front door. Don't bring them into your home or relaxation space. Just let them go for a while. You might even find that when you go out the next day, those worries are no longer there.

#5 Meditate! It's scientifically proven that regular meditation calms and focuses the mind so that you are able to think with greater clarity and cope better with whatever life presents. Take a meditation program and make time for regular practice.

#6 Laugh! Sometimes, the best way to tackle life's difficulties is through good and appropriate humor. Look on the bright side. Use fun and laughter, when it feels right to do so, as a mechanism for creating solutions or helping you through problems. Having a light-hearted perspective can sometimes erode life's challenges and make them surmountable.

#7 Release limiting thoughts. Often, our own thoughts make life's difficulties more complex than they are. Are you holding yourself back from finding solutions? Are your thoughts, born out of fear, lack of confidence, or negativity, restricting you from embracing life? Change your way of thinking and you change your world!

You have what it takes to move beyond difficulties in a calm and effective way.

Remember, you are truly awesome!

How to use subliminal messages for confidence building

Using subliminal messages for confidence building is an incredibly exciting technique that can produce tremendous result even though it requires very little effort. Subliminal messages connect to the part of the unconscious mind where hidden pockets of confidence are stored. Everyone has a certain amount of self-confidence hidden deep within themselves… unfortunately outside stressors tend to enhance the development of a negative self-image. These negative images are carried around as weights which serve to hide ones true inner confidence. Therefore, the image that they display to others is not their real self, but rather a person with a broken down sense of self-esteem.

If you are a person that suffers from low self-confidence, it’s most likely because you haven’t tapped in to that hidden well of confidence potential which lies deep within all of us . Restoring deep levels of confidence could seem challenging but now you can tap back in to your own self-esteem and self-confidence by using subliminal messages to dig out the parts of yourself that have been hidden for a very long time. For most people, this means reconnecting to the sense of confidence that already existed within themselves at one point or another.

Subliminal messages are hidden messages that can be either visual or verbal. They appear in places such as movies, advertisements, television shows, articles and audio program. These messages are normally either displayed too quickly or too quietly for the conscious mind to recognize. Because of this, they bypass the conscious mind and move straight to the subconscious mind. While the conscious mind is often (judgmental) and analytical, the subconscious mind is more easily influenced. Subliminal messages for motivation can take the form of either images or words that skip the analytical conscious mind and affect the influential subconscious mind. In this way, the subliminal messages will do the work for you in building your self-confidence. The psychology may be complicated but the practice is really simple and effective.

Using subliminal messages for motivation is becoming more and more popular as the quality and effectiveness of subliminal messages that can be found on the market increases. No longer are harmful subliminal messages the norm as the self-help industry has revolutionized the way that subliminal messages are presented and used. Make sure that you research any subliminal message products that you are going to purchase in order to ensure that they are made by professionals.

To use subliminal message for confidence building, you simply need to find a subliminal message CD targeted for this topic, or create your own subliminal message recording. Listen to the subliminal messages regularly so that they have time to sink into the deepest levels of your mind and have the power to connect and make a difference. Some people like listening to subliminal messages while they are driving or doing other activities, while others prefer to listen to subliminal messages right before or after they fall asleep.

Subliminal messages can be found in the form of CDs or audio files, or can be created using subliminal message software in the privacy of your own home. Many people prefer to create their own subliminal messages so that their easily influenced subconscious minds are not under the influence of a person they do not know. Whether you are buying subliminal message CDs, or creating one of your own, subliminal messages can boost your self-esteem and help you take control of your thoughts. They can even help rebuild confidence and make you a more motivated person. Hope you enjoyed the article and FEEL more CONFIDENT feel more confident ;-)
