6 Ways to Dissolve Anger

Do you often get angry and disgruntled?

Ever been in a situation where you literally feel your blood boil?

Don't let anger eat away at you and destroy your health and harmony. Try these 6 effective ways to dissolve anger naturally...

#1 What is causing your anger? Why do you feel the way you do? What do you want? Whenever you have an angry episode, look at the root cause and why you're allowing this fierce energy to surface. When you know the triggers that cause you to react, you can go about changing the situation and changing the way you respond to those triggers.

#2 If you get angry often, realize that you have 2 choices: you can let the anger and negativity consume you or you can stop the 'habit' that has formed by changing your thoughts and the way you react for a healthier result. What do you choose?

#3 Feeling the anger rising? Find ways to re-channel that energy in a positive way. For example, massage the back of your neck or shoulders while focusing on something that would normally make you laugh... go for a walk or jog to 'run off' that negative energy... throw some paint at a canvas...do a silly dance...

#4 Change your self-talk. Let go of the negative responses, thoughts and feelings and replace with positive ones. Surrender, forgive, and release what doesn't nurture you or others.

#5 Breathe... with each out-breath, release those wounded, annoyed, frustrated feelings. Recognise that these anger outbursts only steal your time, energy, happiness, and contentment. Breathe in joy and breathe out whatever is stealing your joy.

#6 Laugh! Look for something that makes you smile. Comedy films or clips on YouTube or just the thought of something funny can dissolve negative energy. It's impossible to laugh and be upset and angry at the same time. Focus on laughter.

Learning how to dissolve angry thoughts and feelings may take some time. It's a process of change, which begins when you commit to changing how you feel and react. Get the support you need!

How to Be At Ease with Life

Are your experiences nurturing you or creating angst?

Do you find yourself constantly battling with the stuff that happens to you?

Are you always on edge because you're wondering what the future has in store?

Life has its challenges, but it's not meant to be difficult. Here's my guide to being at ease with life...

* Accept that life has its ups and downs, no matter how hard you try to avoid the downs. Stuff happens! Stuff will always happen. You might not like it, but it 'is as it is'. Just accept and, in doing so, be at ease.

* Enjoy living in the present moment. Stop dwelling on the past and don't worry about the future. Now is what really matters. You'll find a deep-rooted contentment here. The Now allows you to just be and embrace your true happiness.

* Stop being a controller. When you try to control everything that happens in your life, you hang on so tightly that it causes stress, tension, and dis-ease. Change what you can change and release what you can't. Simple!

* Set yourself life goals that are manageable and attainable within the given frame of time. Why create stress for yourself when you can achieve your goals with some slight adjustment.

* Always live your truth. Be you! Don't try to be someone else or live up to someone else's expectations. Doing so just causes more dis-ease. Honor the unique, amazing being that you are.

* Enjoy the journey. Many put so much effort into reaching the destination or achieving an end result when it's the journey that really matters. Be at ease where you are right now and see the beauty and perfection in this moment.

Life is easy when you accept that it is.

De-Clutter Your Life

# Start by making a list of what feels heavy in your life. Identify material clutter (excess stuff you have around you in your home) and emotional / mental clutter (negative, obsessive, draining thoughts and feelings)... all the stuff that makes you tired, chained and lifeless.

# Now imagine what it would feel like to let go of all this mental and material clutter. Imagine how light and joyful and liberated you would be.

# Accept that it's time to release what no longer serves you. Clear out all your clutter. Do it in stages or at a pace that suits you. Right now, just commit to the process. As you let things go, notice how much lighter and brighter you feel.

# Be at peace with the decisions you make. If it 'feels' right to declutter and release thoughts, feelings and any excess material items, then that's what matters. Just let go!
