How to Love Yourself More

Are you your own worst enemy?

Do you constantly criticize yourself and take on negative beliefs that do not support you?

Feeling dissatisfied with your life because you simply don't feel you deserve better?

Maybe you really need to start loving yourself more. Here's how...

# Why are you so hard on yourself? Be totally honest. Work out why you feel the way you do and then realize that there is a healthier and more nurturing alternative. From today, ditch the self-critical stuff and choose to compliment yourself. Change your self-talk. Look for all your positive points (you have plenty!) and recognize the amazing individual that you are.

# Stop comparing yourself with others. This is one of the main reasons that people become so discontented. Know that You are more than good enough. Realize that you are wonderful and unique and worthy of a happy and fulfilling life.

# Raise your self-esteem. The negative thoughts you hold about yourself are often generated from conditioning that has been inherited or picked up along your travels in life. Replace negative feelings with positive ones.

# Give more consideration to how you treat yourself on a daily basis in the way of your thoughts and actions. Be gentle and kind to your mind, body, and spirit. Notice how much better you feel when you do!

When you love yourself more, you live with greater happiness and freedom. When you love yourself more, you are also able to love others with genuine feeling.

So, are you feeling the love?

Today's quote:

"Self-esteem is as important to our well-being as legs are to a table. It is essential for physical and mental health and for happiness." - Louise Hart
