Take a close look at your thoughts, emotions and beliefs. Do you have a positive perspective or do often focus on the negative? Do you believe you can change your life for the better?

Your positive thoughts and self-belief are key to making magic happen in your life.

When you set positive 'I Can!' intentions, you change the energy of your thoughts. Suddenly, doors of opportunity open for you. Goals that have been out of reach are actualized and your dreams manifest in the most wonderful ways. And, it all starts when you master your thoughts and beliefs.

You may need to do some work to remove redundant thoughts and habits that have been holding you back from creating life's magical moments.

Six Steps to Emotional Well-Being


Do you often feel moody, stressed and drained?

Have you lost your carefree attitude and happiness?

If life has lost its sparkle, perhaps you need to improve your emotional well-being. Here's how...

1# Tune in to your emotions. Most people shrug off their feelings and put on a brave face, but the best way to deal with emotional turmoil is to work out what's wrong and take action to put things right. Your emotions are messages. Tune in and listen. How do you feel? Why do you feel like you do? Is there anything you can do about it? If so, plan a course of action.

2# Change what you can't accept and accept what you can't change. What's the point of holding on to emotional turmoil? Life's far too short to waste it on upset and unhappiness. Step back into your joy. Change your thoughts so that you focus on a positive outlook.

3# Express Yourself. Sometimes, you just need to say how it is. Most people bottle up their emotions. Find a way of expressing what you feel in a safe and considered way. Perhaps you know someone who will listen without judgement? Perhaps you can talk to a counsellor? Maybe you just need to channel your emotions through your gym workout or creative talent. Often, expression allows you to find solutions to what's causing the emotional pain.

4# Breathe and let go. Just be in the moment. Let go what has passed. Let go of what might or might not happen. Just be.

5# Nurture your body, mind, and spirit. Eat well, sleep well, relax, and take some exercise. Do something you love - something that resonates deeply with you. Self-nurturing is essential and will put you in the right space to heal any emotional imbalances.

6# Lighten up and have fun. Sometimes, life is just too serious. When you're weighed down by life's dramas and crazy events, take some time out. Go play! Do something fun. Laugh! When you feel lighter, you're in a much better frame of mind to resolve problems.

Your emotional well-being is key to living a happy and healthy life. Don't ignore how you feel. Do something positive about it. Put the sparkle back in your life.

Live the Dream

# Map out your dreams. What do you wish for? Know exactly what you want to do and what steps you need to take to make your dream goals reality. Visualize what you'd like to achieve. Focus on every detail so that it's real in your mind's eye. When you can imagine your dream life, you can begin to manifest it!

# Work out what is stopping you from living the dream right now. Are the obstacles practical or mental? Is fear holding you back? Consider what you need to do to change the situation and make the circumstances favorable for achieving your goals.

# Create a plan of action. Achieving your dream requires action, and the best way forward is by taking one manageable step at a time. Set yourself achievable and focused daily goals.

# Be determined, and stay on course. Sometimes, it might feel like you're navigating through thick fog. Sometimes, it might seem like you're not making enough progress. Change your thoughts. Let go of any negativity, and keep going.

# Believe in yourself. At some point, you will probably have to move out of your comfort zone to attain your dream life. Put fear aside and have fun. Believe you can do it. Believe you can take the next step, no matter how big.

And, remember this: the dream is about the journey and not just the destination. Enjoy the trip. You'll gain more from your experiences along the way!

How to Get Over the Past
