Choose Your Thoughts Carefully

How are you today?

What words come to mind as you consider this simple question?

Do you feel amazing or just okay or do you find yourself responding with 'I'm not too bad' or 'I could be better'?

Your inner dialogue - your thoughts and feelings - impacts your reality and makes all the difference between having a good day or an awful day. Here's how to make your dialogue work for you...

Start by becoming aware of your thoughts and the impact they are having on you.

Be mindful of your self-talk. Notice how many negative and positive feelings occur over the course of your day.

As you become more mindful of your self-talk - this all important inner dialogue that impacts your mood and your choices - you can make a conscious decision to let go of the thoughts, feelings, and statements that do not nurture you.

Your thoughts are the starting point to creating your reality so pay attention to what comes up.

For every negative script running through your mind, replace it with a positive one. It may feel strange and phony, at first, but it's all about re-training your mind to focus on the positive.

To make your inner dialogue work for you, let go of old, redundant thoughts and feelings that are holding you back. You can do it!

If you're struggling to maintain focus, use the Self-Talk course to help you clear those limiting thoughts and establish positive ones.

Be more mindful and notice how your thoughts really do affect your reality from one day to the next.

So, how are you today? Happy and wonderful? Fantastic and amazing? It's your choice!

Be truly awesome because you already are!

Celebrate the Amazing You!

Do you ever find yourself wishing you could be someone else?

Are you in awe, perhaps slightly envious, of other people's success, confidence, happiness, and wealth?

Aspiring to be like your favourite role model is fine, but what's important is to recognize the amazing potential in you. Here's how...

Stand in your own light and believe in yourself.

Wishing you could be like someone else is such a waste of your true promise. You may not realize it, but you have so much to offer.

If you're busy trying to be a copy of your favourite celebrity or your cool best friend, you're denying the expression of your beautiful, original self. It's akin to putting weed killer on a rare and beautiful flower before it has chance to bloom.

Grow into yourself. Discover your gifts. Recognize you are perfect as you are and fabulously unique.

If you're struggling to see the amazing you, work on your self-esteem. Invest in yourself as an individual because you are definitely worth it.

Change whatever thoughts or feelings aren't supporting you and you will change your life for the better.

Once you do this vital inner work, you'll realize that you don't want to be like anyone else because you're happy being you.

So aspire to be you and celebrate the fact. You are such a precious gift. Remember! You are truly amazing.

'Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.' - Judy Garland

Six Natural Ways to Increase Vitality

Do you feel tired and listless?

Are you struggling to find the energy to enjoy life?

If so, here are six effective ways to boost your vitality naturally...

1# Eat for energy
Your food is your fuel so it's important to eat the best quality nutrient-packed food to boost your vitality levels. Take a look at your diet. Can you improve it? Choose to consume a variety of natural fruits, vegetables, salads, nuts, grains, and pulses. Choose organic produce where possible. Listen to your body and note how you feel after each meal. Is your food increasing your energy levels? Eat little and often. If you're hungry between meals, drink a nutrient-rich smoothie or eat a power snack of raisins or berries with a little raw chocolate.

2# Take a power walk
If you're feeling sluggish, take a 10 minute power walk to boost your circulation. Stride out and get some fresh air into your lungs. This helps to increase your body's oxygen levels so that you feel more vital and awake. It will also give you an instant lift. Alternatively, dance, swim, or cycle. Take the stairs instead of the lift. Move those muscles and feel re-energized!

3# Do the Five Rituals
Tap into this ancient ritual. Not only will you gain more energy, you'll also feel and look younger!

4# Increase vitality with water
Make sure you drink a few glasses of water each day to maintain good health and keep your body hydrated. Your body functions much better when it has enough fluids so don't neglect your water intake. Also, use water to wake you up. Have an invigorating shower. Dance in the rain or go for a swim.

5# Watch your thoughts
What you think contributes to the way you feel. If your thoughts are negative, you'll notice a drop in your energy levels. Negative thinking tends to steal your vitality so be more mindful of your thoughts and how they impact your day. Think positive. Choose to see the world from an optimistic perspective. Your thoughts make a difference.

6# Improve your life-work balance
Sometimes, tiredness is simply the result of doing too much. The best way to have plenty of energy to enjoy life is to focus on a better life-work balance. Consider your priorities and re-organise your day so that you have enough time and energy to do what's necessary. Let go of things or routines that do not serve you. Remember the maxims 'less is more' and 'everything in moderation'.

When you embrace these six ways, you will quickly notice a significant improvement in your energy levels.

Your vitality is key to enjoying life so focus on boosting your energy naturally. Invest in your health and be mindful of your thoughts. What you choose makes a difference.
