Make Time to Breathe


Every moment, you breathe in and breathe out. You probably don't give it any thought.

Yet, breathing, apart from keeping you alive, can enhance your health and well-being ... as long as you make time to breathe properly.

So, what do we know about the power of breathing? ...

Well, our wisest ancestors certainly knew the importance of correct breathing.

Chuang Tzu recognized that 'the men of old breathed clear down to their heels.' He believed that having the right breathing control gave us strength, vitality, inspiration, and magic powers.

In Sanskrit, it is said that, 'breath is life, and if you breathe well you will live long on earth.'

When you are mindful of your breathing, you can use powerful breathing techniques that will enable you to boost your energy levels and enjoy a more 'switched-on' way of life.

The natural benefits of correct breathing are certainly astounding. They include:

Confronting Your Fears


If you're not living the life you've always wanted, you need to ask yourself this: what am I afraid of?

You see, often it's fear that stops you realizing your goals. It's fear that holds you back from achieving your full potential.

Once you realize this, you can do something about it. Here's what you do ...

You take a little advice from Mark Twain. You do the thing you fear most and, in doing so, the death of fear becomes certain.

Start by establishing what it is you're really afraid of. It can be one or many things.

Maybe you're afraid of public speaking, flying or making mistakes? Perhaps you're frightened of voicing your opinions or what people think of you? Or maybe you're afraid of change and how those changes will impact your life?

Identify what's created your fear. Establish whether it's rational or irrational. What fuels it? What makes it the monster that sits between you and your dreams?

By understanding why you're afraid, you begin breaking down barriers. Your fear loses its power.

As soon as you confront your fear, it dissolves. You see it for what it is - the obstacle that is holding you back and preventing you from living authentically.
