8 Ways to Free Your Mind

Do you feel stuck in a rut?

Are you tired of mind-numbing routines and soulless conventions?

Maybe it's time to break out of life's confines! Here are 8 Ways to free your mind...

1) Let go of any thoughts, feelings, habits, or situations that do not support or inspire you.

2) If you find yourself in a difficult situation, remind yourself that 'this will pass' and focus on the positive.

3) Breathe, smile, and approach life with fresh optimism. Life is to be enjoyed, not endured.

4) Let go of life's clutter. Clear out your living and work space. Gift or recycle any excesses. When you reduce your physical clutter, it helps reduce your mental clutter.

5) Do you really need to do so much? Make your life more manageable. Focus only on what matters. Reduce your daily to-do list.

6) What's consuming you? What heavy, negative thoughts steal your time and energy? Pay attention to your thoughts. Replace negative with positive. Perhaps Ultimate NLP will help.

7) Make time to do something you love and look forward to doing it. When you're enjoying yourself, you feel free.

8) Don't fear change. Simply embrace it. Change brings new opportunities and potentially enriching experiences.

Don't make life a hardship. Free your mind and create more joy in your life. You deserve it. Take steps to make it happen today.

Don't Stress. Just Breathe!

Too much to do, but not enough hours?

Are you struggling to meet expectations and achieve your goals?

If life is challenging you right now, don't stress. Simply find your inner calm. Here's how...

Begin by being mindful of how you feel in the moment.

Notice when your muscles start tensing up. Notice when you have a sensation of anxiety, unease, or panic. Notice when your mood drops.

As soon as you pay attention to how you feel, you can do something about it. You can take time out to breathe.

'But, I breathe ALL the time', I hear you say. Of course you do. But, are you consciously breathing?

Are you aware of how correct breathing can remove stress, eradicate symptoms that cause disease, and bring about greatly enhanced well-being?

Most of the time, we don't think about how we breathe. It's automatic. And, yet, when we focus on each breath for a few minutes at a time, we become mindful of how each 'in' and 'out' breath is healing on a deep level.

Our wise ancestors knew how important correct breathing is. In our fast-paced world, many have simply forgotten.

So, when you're next feeling stressed, focus on your breathing.

Not sure how to breathe for enhanced health and well-being? Check out the Power of Breathing and discover the amazing benefits of regular breathwork.

Wishing you all a wonderfully calm and stress-free day.

Six Steps to Emotional Balance

Do you (or your loved ones) suffer from your mood swings?

Are your emotions sucking the joy out of life?

Wish you could maintain a happy, care-free mood most of the time?

Discover how to achieve emotional balance with the following six steps...

#1 Make sure you're eating nourishing food - lots of organic fruit and vegetables of all varieties and colours to ensure you're gaining the micro nutrients needed to maintain harmonious health. Make sure you eat mood-boosting foods such as bananas, walnuts, avocados, sunflower seeds, as well as omega-rich nurients found in flaxseed or fish oils.

#2 Take regular exercise such as walking, dancing, cycling, or swimming. This will boost your circulation and increase your “feel good” hormones.

#3 Is there an underlining cause to your dip in mood? Resolve any emotional issues that are stopping you from living life in a state of natural joy.

#4 Are you easily stressed? If so, take up yoga, Tai Chi, meditation or simply a relaxing hobby to combat tension.

#5 Get a good night's sleep. Quality sleep is important to your health and well-being. Establish a gentle and relaxing bedtime routine.

#6 Take a look at your relationships. Are they nurturing and joyful? Choose to be with happy, positive people, who make you feel good.

Emotional balance is achievable when you tackle any root causes and apply some much-needed self-nurturing.

You are awesome. Your natural state of being is 'joy'. So, take care of yourself and say goodbye to bad moods.

Celebrate the Wonderful You!

Are you always comparing yourself with other people?

Do you wish you were more attractive, outgoing, and successful?

Do you hone in on all the negative things you perceive about yourself rather than see the good points?

If you're struggling to recognize the amazing individual that you already are, read on...

Focus on these truths...

# When we stand in our own light (instead of someone else's), we begin to shine.

# When we focus on our gifts rather than what we lack, we become empowered as well as abundant.

# When we practice self-acceptance, embracing our perceived oddities and quirks, we grow in our confidence.

# When we throw out all those limiting thoughts that hold us back from embracing opportunity (thoughts such as I'm not as good as her, I'm not beautiful enough, I'm not intelligent enough, I'm not special enough, etc), life begins to flow beautifully.

# When we cherish and nurture ourselves, we bloom.

Focus on all your good points. Choose to see the positive. Improve your outlook.

Life is an amazing experience and a wonderful opportunity to really shine your light in this world. So, why waste this opportunity by focusing on your perceived faults and failings?

Recognize the sparkling, wonderful, beautiful being that you are and celebrate your unique presence on life's journey.

You are amazing. Don't ever forget it!

“Find yourself and express yourself in your own particular way. Express your love openly.” – Don Miguel Ruiz
