How to Be True to Yourself

Do you often say 'yes' when you really want to say 'no'?

Is it a struggle to stand up for yourself and speak your truth?

If you're always at odds with the choices you make, it's time to be strong for your own health and peace of mind. Here's how...

* When you find yourself agreeing to do things you don't want to do, dig deep and ask yourself why. If you're wrestling with your own conscience and feelings of guilt, fear, or lack of confidence and self-worth, then do the inner work to resolve these issues. Understand that you don't have to feel this way. You have a choice.

* Recognize that saying what you feel isn't a sign of weakness. On the contrary, it shows your strength. Learn to assert yourself.

* Align yourself with choices that feel right for you. Don't feel guilty for the decisions you make. Ultimately, you'll know what is the right choice. Let go of self-doubts and all that negative self-talk.

* Realize that it's fine to say what's on your mind. Express yourself clearly, calmly and with confidence. If someone has a problem with it, then it's their problem.

* Understand that you can't please everyone all of the time. If you're constantly trying to please others at the expense of your self-esteem, you will not be truly valued. Take a stand.

Practice being true to yourself today. Say 'yes' when you really mean YES and 'no' when you really mean NO!

When you respect yourself and your inner truth, you'll feel a greater sense of self-worth and will be valued for being you.

Have an amazing day!
