Create the Life You Want


Do you spend time wishing life could be different?

Are you wondering how you can make life more fun, exciting, and successful?

In order to create the life you want, you need to think like an artist. Here's what you need to do:


Grab a coffee, sit down, and think about what you want out of life. Visualize what it is you'd really like to do or achieve.

Like an artist, tap into your vast imagination. Tune in with your emotions. What do you want out of life? What would make your world truly rock? What would make you jump out of bed each day with excitement?

Have a clear idea of what it is you want then set your intention.

Once you have a fairly solid vision of the life you wish to create, you can begin applying paint to your canvas.

Give yourself room to experiment. You may need to use a particular technique or tools to create the detail that you need. Work on the foundations first. Sketch out the basic picture and then start adding paint. Step-by-step, you will see your life's picture take shape.

Focus all your efforts into creating the life you desire. There are no short-cuts. You need to do the work and spend time exploring what works for you.

You may make a few mistakes along the way. That's okay. A mistake is really just experience. Mistakes add to your mastery when it comes to creating your life's picture. You can always change what doesn't work. Your canvas allows that flexibility.

What's important is that you keep applying paint ... you keep stepping back to see how the picture is materializing ... you keep doing the work that is needed.

Eventually, you'll be able to step back and see the results of what you have created from your vision and application.

Recognize your creative genius today. You have everything that you need to paint the life you've always wanted. Get in touch with your inner artist ... realize that you have that Da Vinci spark within you. All you need to do is focus and do the work.

Walk and Be Well!


When was the last time you took 30 minutes out of your day to walk in the park?

If you can't remember, then make time this week to start a new, regular walking routine. Not only will walking improve your fitness, you'll gain lots of other benefits too.

Walking out in the fresh air has always been known as a great way to improve your health and well-being. A brisk walk boosts circulation, keeps muscles strong, helps you maintain a healthy heart and healthy weight, and even improves your mood by releasing 'feel-good' hormones. All in all, a walk in the park is healthy and allows you to be well.

But the benefits don't end there!

There's much more to gain from spending 30 minutes walking several times per week. While you're walking, you can use this time to boost your brain power, enhance your self-esteem, reduce stress, and focus on improving your life.

Walking time is the ideal time to contemplate and focus on what you want from life.

Many people (me included) take a daily walk to enhance health and to focus on self-development.

Before you set out on your walk, consider your intentions. What do you aim to achieve today? Do you need to be more positive? Is there a problem you need to solve? Are there emotions or issues you wish to resolve within yourself?

Be specific. Focus on what it is you wish to change and then use your walk to recite positive affirmations and self-suggestions.

After 30 minutes or so, you'll return from your walk feeling more positive and refreshed. You may even work out solutions to challenges or see difficulties from a new perspective.

If you don't quite believe just how life-changing the simple act of walking can be, give it a try. Walk every day for a couple of weeks and see what a difference it makes to how you feel and how you approach life.

Not only will you feel healthier, you'll be ready to face the world with renewed vigour and enthusiasm.

So, figure out a route, even if it's just a couple of circuits round the block. Where possible, head for a park or a place where nature is abundant to further boost well-being. Step-by-step, walk into a new and better life!

Let Go and Breathe ...


When life gets you down ...
When it seems nothing you do makes a difference ...

Take time out and simply let go and breathe. Here's how ...

Start with a peaceful meditation ... some time to yourself to become mindful in the moment.

Bring your awareness to what is now and let go of those niggling thoughts and all that internal resistance that's stealing your happiness.

Breathe in to re-vitalize and breathe out all that stale, limiting energy. Let go of all the stuff that is holding you back and stopping you from living joyfully.

Learn how to breathe effectively to enhance your well-being.

As you sit in the moment, accept you can't control the outcome of everything that happens around you. Some things just 'are'. So, let go of the energy you attach to such outcomes. Let go and breathe.

Be mindful of how letting go resistance and limiting thoughts can change your life for the better. Realize that you can move beyond the day's issues ... that you can centre yourself in the moment and find all the resources you need within.

The very practice of letting go and focusing on your breath moment by moment is empowering. It confirms you're a creative, capable, happy being, here to enjoy life to the full.

So, no matter how tough things appear to be ... no matter how challenging your day seems ... remember this: the earth keeps on spinning. Time keeps on ticking. We are here for a single heartbeat in the grand scheme of things so don't waste your life worrying. Simply let go and breathe.

Do the Work!



Are you dissatisfied with your life and the way things have turned out?

First, you need to realise that you're a 'work in progress'. As long as you breathe, you can shape, change and improve yourself.

Most people don't fully comprehend this. They don't recognise they always have choices. If you don't like something about your life and the way things are, change it!

Don't think you can change? Well, that's just a limiting thought.

Combat those inner demons based upon years of negativity or habitual thoughts and practices. Stop holding yourself back. Embrace a more positive stance and start changing your world for the better.

You can sit back and complain that life has dealt you a raw deal but will that change anything? Nope! All it does is give you (and those around you) a headache. Nobody wants that.

So, get up and change your situation. Begin it by changing your self-talk. Do the work that is needed to create the life you've always wanted.
