The Happiness Secret

Are you truly, madly, deeply happy right now?

If not, why not?

Living joyfully is what life is all about and you, too, can attain this deep-rooted contentment. You just need to know the secret to happiness ...

Life is a fantastic journey and yet many people plod along life's path feeling miserable. They cling on to negative emotions and experiences rather than embrace positive, happy thoughts.

Some people inherit or pick up such 'negative programming' from family, friends or aquaintances or by focusing on negative media stories. Some wallow in past experiences or future worries rather than enjoying the simple happiness found in the moment that is now.

When you begin embracing the positive rather than the negative aspects of life, you begin to shift your state of being to one that is predominantly joyful and contented.

You can attain happiness now simply through the choices you make moment by moment.

Commit to focusing on the positive aspects of your day.

* Become a glass half-full rather than a glass half-empty person.
* See the beautiful colours of a rainbow rather than focus on the rain.
* Look for the good in a difficult situation.
* Laugh lots ... and make others laugh, too.
* Watch your self-talk ... is your internal dialogue supporting your right to happiness?
* Surround yourself with positive happy people ... like attracts like!

The secret to happiness? It's all about being and living in the moment!

So, don't postpone your happiness until tomorrow. Tomorrow might never come.

Be happy now ... make it your choice ... and the world will be a much brighter and wonderful place.

Smiles!

"If you want to be happy, be." - Leo Tolstoy

Shape Up Your Mind

Getting fit isn't just about exercising the body, it should also be about exercising the mind.

When you keep your mind in shape, research suggests you live longer, live happier, live successfully, and live with greater intelligence.

So, here are a few tips to help you shape up your mind to enjoy the greatest benefits ...

1) Exercise your mind everyday by immersing yourself in something new. Try new experiences. Listen to different types of music. Experience new sensations. Visit places you haven't visited before. Your brain's neurons react positively to fresh stimulus.

2) Increase your intelligence. You're not born a genius; what you focus on can make you a genius. Learn how to radically improve your IQ and enjoy the benefits of honing a genius mind!

3) Your mind needs relaxation and reflection time to safeguard mental health. Make sure you 'switch off' everyday to rest your brain. Take a walk in the park. Sit by the river. Turn off your computer and phone. Relax! Downtime is crucial to your well-being.

4) Feed your mind with Sonic Vitamins by listening to special sounds that will shift your brainwave patterns into positive and beneficial ways of thinking.

5) Eat nutritiously so that your mind and body gain all the nutrients needed for optimum health and well-being. A balanced diet should ensure you have all you need but take a multi-vitamin and mineral every day for added benefit. Also, make sure you drink several glasses of water each day to keep the mind and body hydrated.

6) Your brain loves a new challenge. Try Speed-Reading or participate in regular quizzes or puzzle-solving activities.

7) Move your body! When you exercise by engaging in any cardiovascular activity such as walking, running, swimming, cycling, dancing or aerobics, you also increase the flow of blood and nutrients to your brain. This also helps release feel-good endorphins and provides the ultimate natural high.

Your mental health and well-being is important to your happiness and success so keep your mind in shape to enjoy life to the full.

Be the genius you were born to become!

Is Fear Holding You Back?

Would you sooner run ten miles than face speaking in public?

Are you scared witless of everyday situations such as driving a car or being in a crowded place or meeting new people or flying to an amazing holiday destination?

Would you like to eradicate your phobias and fears so that you can live life to the full?

The truth is that you miss out on some really good times and incredible experiences because of your fear so read on to discover how you move beyond your fear and start living!

Feeling fearful is a common and very real problem. In many ways, it's natural to have some fear as it's part of our instinct and survival mechanism. Sometimes, however, fear can get out of control, hold us back and create unwanted responses. If you have a phobia, you'll probably have experienced the physical impact: sweaty palms, palpitations, extreme anxiety, nightmares and the need to 'run' from whatever it is you're scared of. You'll also be well aware that fear is stopping you from living a happy and successful life.

Fear can result from a negative experience or can be a totally irrational response. Either way, being frightened of something can be a pain and stop you from enjoying life to the full.

Some of the most common fears and phobias include:

Fear of flying, visiting the dentist, relationships, public speaking, failure, illness, commitment, driving, spiders, rats, or even fear of leaving the house.

Many are held back from experiencing their TRUE potential because they are holding on to unnecessary fears and phobias.

The good news is that you can cure phobias and step beyond your fear.

To stop the Fear response, you need to recognize when it is active but also identify what triggers it. Once you're aware of what's happening, you can “undo” the destructive programming that is holding you back. You can “release” some of the crazy thoughts that are stopping you moving forward in life.

If your life is dominated by fear and phobias, it's never too late to fix it. You can see a hypnotherapist or a psychologist to help you move beyond your fear. You can use NLP or take the Ten Minute Cure.

Make it your goal today to cure the fear that is holding you back.

Go live the life you've always wanted!

Center Your Self

How much time do you invest in taking care of your own needs?

How often do you say NO to everyone else so you can say YES to your own wishes and dreams?

You deserve some time and space just for YOU and this is why ...

Some people think that being self-centered is selfish and vain. Some people are conditioned that to qualify their existence, they need to be of service to others. Yet to really be of service, to really make a difference in the world, you need to begin with taking care of your self.

You see, when you don't center your self, you lose touch with your own power. You end up feeling empty, frustrated, and unfulfilled. How can you make a difference in the world when you feel so unhappy?

When you take time to focus on your own happiness now, then you have more positive energy for everyone else.

So, be self-centered. Every day, embrace activities that nurture your health and well-being.

Make time to breathe properly so you can enjoy more energy and mental clarity.

Spend time doing something you enjoy and do it just for you!

Every day, take time out to reduce life's hectic pace. Just relax and listen to soothing music and sounds to remove stress and tension.

When you're centered in your self, you have far more to give!

You'll have huge amounts of energy, greater fulfilment, innate joy, and a positive outlook. Just imagine what you can achieve when you create this special time for yourself.

So, make time today - every day - to be more self-centered. Focus on the benefits. You are so worthy of this 'me-time' and you so deserve to be happy.

Today's quote:

A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.-

Map Your Success

Do you know what you want out of life?

Know where you're going?

Are you on course for success?

If not, then maybe you need to take a closer look at your life map!

You see, when you're on the journey, it's easy to get a little distracted. Before you know it, you find yourself off-course or even lost. When this happens, all those best-made plans and resolutions end up being pipe dreams.

To make sure you don't lose your way on life's journey, make sure you know exactly what you want to do and then map your success.

Begin your success map by answering the following:

1) What do you want to achieve?

2) How do you go about getting what you want?

3) What do you need to do different to ensure that you achieve your goals?

4) What level of commitment is needed to stick to the journey?

When planning your life's goals and journeys, remember that your mind is the most powerful tool available to you.

If you aren't succeeding right now, then perhaps you need to reflect on what it is that's holding you back. Nine times out of ten, you'll find it's YOU! More specifically, it's your thoughts or mindset that stops you from mapping out your success and staying the course!

Maybe you need to turn on the subliminal power or feed your brain to create the right kind of thinking you need to undertake your journey. A little self-investment can make a lot of difference!

So, take a look at your success map. Know exactly what you want and where you are going. Realize what you need to do to action your plans and then commit to the journey.

Don't forget to send a postcard when you reach your destination!

Happy travels!
