Think Before You Act

Human thoughts and emotions are complex. Sometimes, we say and do things before we've really thought about it. Occasionally, we react to what other people say and do without consideration.

If you're creating emotional stress within you or around you, then change the situation. Here's how ...

Be mindful of your thoughts, emotions, and actions.

What you say and do has power. It can change your life and it can impact other people.

When you are thinking and acting from negativity, such as anger, bitterness, pessimism, and retaliation, you are feeding into negativity. Not only will you create problems for others, you will also create problems for yourself ... again and again.

Be mindful of your self-talk, your intentions, and your actions. Be aware of how you feel.

Are you focused on providing a thoughtful and positive response?

Are you acting from a place of love and compassion?

Are you nurturing yourself and others by the results of what you choose to do?

When you are mindful of your thoughts, you can make an inspiring difference. You can bring sunshine into your life and other people's. You can bring a peaceful resolution to a situation that has been bothering you and hurting others. You can achieve more happiness and success by thinking and acting mindfully.

It's your choice. It's always your choice!

So, think before you act. Be aware of how your choices can change your world. It's all down to you.

Today's quote:

"Be the change that you want to see in the world." - Mohandas Gandhi

How to Grow Young

You've probably heard the saying that age is only a state of mind.

So, is it really possible to grow young rather than grow old?

The answer may surprise you.

You see, the only thing stopping you from living youthfully is YOU!

More specifically, your thoughts and beliefs can influence how young you feel. It's a matter of making conscious choices and creating new habits to ensure you nurture a youthful outlook to stay youthful ... no matter what your age!

Scientists and quantum physicists tell us that we are composed simply of energy and that we can influence that energy through our conscious thoughts.

So, keep a check on your daily dialogue with the outside world and yourself. Eradicate any talk or thoughts that make you feel old.

Instead, replace aging thoughts with positive, youth-centric affirmations, such as 'I am young and healthy', 'I feel great and have lots of energy', 'I look fantastic', and so on.

Keep saying and believing these positive affirmations every single moment of every single day and notice how you start to feel.

The fountain of youth exists. It's in your mind.

And, you really are as old as you think.

Remember, your age is just a number and not a reflection of your youthful presence.

So, choose to be a powerful and inspiring model for living a joyful, energized life. Begin growing young today!

Today's quote:

“Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter."

Learning to Let Go!

Are you holding on to negative thoughts, feelings or habits?

Are you struggling to come to terms with something that happened yesterday, last month or years ago?

Don't let the past steal the beauty and happiness of your present. Discover how to let go!

It seems hard to believe that people actually choose to spend time worrying or dwelling negatively on things that can't be changed and yet that is exactly what happens every single day. I've done it. You've done it. We've all had episodes in our lives where we've allowed negativity to steal the best of us.

If you're holding on to negative thoughts right now ... perhaps worrying about that job interview you messed up, or dwelling on the horrible things someone once said to you, or angry at yourself for acting badly in a heated moment, or thinking with regret about the things you should have done when you had the opportunity, and so on ... then it's time to have a clear out and let go of all the feelings and habits that don't support you.

Start by being mindful of your self-talk ... that inner dialogue that may be feeding your attachment to what has been and gone.

Every time a negative thought, feeling or habit rears its head, replace it with a positive.

This will take some time and dedication but, as you become aware of the thoughts and habits that dominate your day, you can change your outlook and perspective. Importantly, you can take back your valuable 'now' time and be happier and contented.

So, take time to invest in yourself. Begin today. Let go of redundant thoughts, emotions, and habits and start living in the present. It's a gift that you'll soon learn to cherish.

Have a positive day!

Today's quote:

"Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or to lose."

- Lyndon B. Johnson

Attract the Life You Want!

Are you attracting the life you desire?

Are you achieving everything you've set out to do?

If not, it's time to reflect on whether what you are doing is enough to make your dreams come true.

You've all heard of Cosmic Ordering and the law of attraction. You really can manifest just about anything you want in life. Of course, turning dreams into reality requires you to know exactly how attraction works. When you know what you need to do, you can focus your energy and ensure that you gain the desired results.

You see, focus is the key! When you direct your energy into a specific goal, you are giving that goal the cosmic attention it deserves. You are giving power to that goal and making it a reality.

Everyone has the potential to use their innate power to manifest whatever they need and yet few know how to use the attraction wisdom to the best effect.

You may have even dabbled with cosmic ordering, just to see if it works for you. Perhaps you've had some minor success by manifesting a parking space in a busy city or attracting a timely solution to a problem. Once the novelty of attraction wore off, you probably forgot just how powerful it is.

Well, now it's time to rediscover the laws of attraction and start to sharpen your focus. Start giving your attention to the more important things you'd like to manifest ... a great new relationship, a fantastic new job, enough money to give you the freedom you need to live brilliantly, and so on.

Focus on what it is you need and let the law of attraction do the work!

Remember, one spark has the energy to create a fire. What spark are you giving your attention to right now? Decide what it is you want and concentrate on manifesting it.

It all begins with one thought. That's how powerful you really are!

Have an amazing week!

Today's quote:

"One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular." - Tony Robbins
