Live in the Now!

Where are you right this moment?

Well, if you're reading this, then hopefully you're tuned in and focused on today's self-development insight.

You see, I want to share with you the importance of living in the now. Chances are you live in the now most of the time, and that's great. In fact, it's really great because, in actual fact, many people spend a huge amount of their `now time' thinking about past events and future possibilities, and that's not so good at all.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to reflect on good memories of days gone by and it's prudent to do a little visualized abundance planning for the future, if it's done so in moderation. What's not so clever is if you spend a good chunk of your days in the past or in some possible future, and lose what's really important: the `present' moment.

And, you know, the `present moment' is really all we have!

So, why do people spend so much time dwelling on past or future scenarios?

Well, when it comes down to it, there's really only one reason for spending far too much time day-dreaming about past times or possible future events, and it's because you're not totally happy in the present moment. After all, if you were happy now, you wouldn't have time to dwell too long because you'd be having such a good time, and why would you want to spoil that!

So, have a serious think about where your thoughts are as you go about your day. Consider what you need to change, if anything, so that you truly live - and ENJOY living - your life NOW!

And remember this:

"What lies behind us, and what lies
before us are small matters
compared to what lies within us."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Have a fabulous day!
